I am currently working on an advancer for Student Foundation's Bear Downs. The event is a 25.2 mile relay bicycle race around Baylor University's campus.

It used to be 50 miles! I think that the way they've got it set now, it's 36 laps around an area of campus making it the 25.2 miles. I agree though, confusing.
Why couldn't they extend it to 26.2 miles?! It's so close to being marathon length, but they cut it a little short? That's confusing.
